Provide seed funding from CITAC to kickstart the formation/expansion of a locally-initiated project with the goal of engaging physician-scientist trainees from multiple training programs in Canada. 

Up to $750 CDN per fund.

• Aims to engage physician-scientist trainees from multiple programs in Canada
• Fills a gap in current programming/initiatives for physician-scientist trainees
• Organized primarily by physician-scientist trainees (i.e. members of CITAC)
• De novo (new) or currently existing at a local level (e.g. within one program)
• Has not previously been supported by this fund

Projects will be evaluated for their overall alignment with the fund’s purpose, and assessed based on the following criteria:

• Impact (including project’s creativity/novelty)
• Engagement (e.g. potential to connect trainees)
• Organization (including comprehensiveness of plan)
• Sustainability (of the project itself or project outcomes).

• Provide announcement blurb, communication materials
• Liaise with CITAC periodically for duration of project
• Properly recognize CITAC as a project sponsor
• Provide report by end of the following July
