Quelles sont nos priorit\u00e9s actuelles en mati\u00e8re de plaidoyer ?<\/h3>

Les d\u00e9fis auxquels sont confront\u00e9s les cliniciens-chercheurs stagiaires sont nombreux et vari\u00e9s, touchant notamment le financement, le mentorat et l'int\u00e9gration. Conscients de ces multiples facettes, notre principale priorit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de plaidoyer est la cr\u00e9ation d'un conseil national ind\u00e9pendant dont le mandat est d'assurer la supervision pancanadienne de la formation des cliniciens-chercheurs. Ce conseil serait id\u00e9alement compos\u00e9 de divers intervenants, incluant des stagiaires, des enseignants, des organismes de financement et des membres du public. Cette priorit\u00e9 de plaidoyer d\u00e9coule de la recommandation principale d'un conf\u00e9rence nationale de consensus tenue en 2016.<\/a><\/span><\/p>

Les activit\u00e9s de plaidoyer du CITAC sont guid\u00e9es par notre la vision de l'organisation<\/a><\/span><\/span>, qui vise \u00e0 soutenir tous les stagiaires cliniciens-chercheurs dans la r\u00e9alisation de leur plein potentiel pour int\u00e9grer les deux mondes de la pratique clinique et de la recherche en sant\u00e9.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Advocacy CITAC provides\u00a0a national voice for clinician-investigator trainees in Canada. We engage numerous stakeholders across the country to advance the conversation on trainee priorities.\u00a0\u00a0 What are our current advocacy priorities? \u00a0 The challenges facing clinician-investigator trainees is numerous and wide-ranging, spanning funding, mentorship, integration, and more. Recognizing this multifaceted problem, our primary advocacy priority is to establish an independent, national council whose mandate is to provide pan-Canadian oversight of clinician-investigator training. This council would ideally be composed of diverse stakeholders, spanning trainees, educators, funding agencies, and public members. This advocacy priority derives from the principle recommendation of a national consensus conference held in 2016. How do we determine our advocacy priorities? \u00a0 CITAC advocacy activities are guided by our organization\u2019s vision, which is to support all clinician-scientist trainees in realizing their full potential to integrate the two worlds of clinical practice and health research.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 We constantly strive to advocate from an evidence-informed\u00a0perspective, and\u00a0do so in part by gathering that evidence through our research activities.
