AGM 2021 – Virtual

AGM 2020 took place on November 12th–13th, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we transitioned our 2020 CITAC Annual General Meeting to a virtual conference for the first time this year, and hosted over 100 participants from across Canada. 

The theme was “Navigating uncertainty, embracing change and empowering the next generation of clinician-scientists." The meeting provided attendees with a good understanding of the funding landscape, job environment and the development of skills (negotiation, communication, and self-care) to help strategize and develop resilience in the Canadian health research environment. We also hosted Dr. Michael Strong, President of the CIHR, as our Keynote speaker.
