Career development series

CITAC, in collaboration with the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation (CSCI) and partner institutions, hosts a monthly career seminar development series called “CIP the T” (Career Information for Physician-scientist Trainees).  

Given that the current availability of career-focused workshops varies largely across training centers, we recognize that all Canadian trainees face similar challenges and would benefit from broader discussions on how to navigate the unique clinical & research demands. Therefore, this initiative aims to develop a national career development program across Canada that widens the accessibility and reach of workshops delivered. By centering each monthly seminar around a “provocative” question, we aim to provide a platform for trainee networking through interactive discussions and further strength the clinician-scientist community.
