Partnerships

CITAC is fortunate to partner with various organizations that aim to advance clinician-scientist career paths and create opportunities for trainees. Together, we deliver seminars and workshops, hold conferences, support trainees on their career trajectories, and much more.

In doing so, we engage with trainees, physicians, and scientists in Canada and abroad to develop exciting content that is relevant to the contemporary clinician-scientist training pathway. Read below to find out more about our partners and the educational and training opportunities that we deliver together.

MD Financial Management and Scotiabank

is our exclusive financial services partners. CITAC’s collaborative strategic partnership with MD Financial Management and Scotiabank, which was established in 2018, enables us to better meet the needs of clinician-investigator trainees together. For information on the vast financial services and resources available to trainees, check out their page here.

Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation (CSCI)

Represents and connects individuals conducting clinical research across Canada. We work hand-in-hand to promote careers in academic medicine, connect the clinician-scientist community, and to develop and execute programming, such as our joint Annual General Meeting. For more information on CSCI, please visit their website here.

International Consortium of Clinician Scientist Trainee Organizations (ICCSTO)

is a collaboration between regional organizations that serve as the voice of clinician-scientist trainees. The consortium’s goals are to strengthen the connections between the global clinician-scientist community, to research training pipelines and outcomes across the various global training pathways, and to facilitate career opportunities for trainees. For more information about ICCSTO, please visit our website here.
